Rooted in its ongoing support of the arts, self-expression, and social progress, DTLA’s iconic Hotel Figueroa embraces the weekend-long celebration by hosting the Official RuPaul’s DragCon Pool Party on Monday May 27 from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. for Memorial Day. ‘Sissy that walk’ and sashay down the coffin-shaped pool deck with DJs JD Samson, Seth Bogart, and Jodie Harsh! Access is limited to Hotel Figueroa hotel guests and DragCon attendees only with official DragCon 2019 lanyard/day or weekend passes. Walking distance from the Los Angeles Convention Center, the hotel will offer all attendees with DragCon badges 15% off food and beverage at the hotel (including Breva, Veranda, Rick’s, and Bar Figueroa) throughout Memorial weekend (Friday, May 24 – Monday, May 27).
To further round out the DragCon 2019 festivities that weekend, Pony Sweat will host an energetic aerobics and dance workout class on Sunday, May 26 for all the ponies to get a sweat in before the pool party celebrations. The workout will take place in Hotel Figueroa’s Gran Sala space on Sunday morning. General admission is available and complimentary for all hotel guests with their wristbands. Food and drink specials will be available post-sweat at the hotel’s pool deck. Additionally, Hotel Figueroa is launching a Memorial Day – Summer In the City room package, where guests receive 20% off Best Flexible Rates on all room types including signature suites, when booking now through May 31st for travel between May 21st to September 30th, 2019.
