Created by Aqualillies. the world-renowned synchronized swimming performance company, our instructors will teach you the fundamentals – sculling techniques, layouts, tucks, ballet legs and more. Then you’ll set your skills to music with a beautiful and athletic routine. No synchronized swimming experience is required!
Synchronized swimming is a full body workout, and classes are a fun opportunity to learn a unique new skill in a supportive environment. Classes focus on cardiovascular endurance, core strength. muscle tone and Nexibility, with particular attention to strengthening core and arm muscles while opening hips. (Fun fact: as of 2017. artistic swimming* is the official new name of the sport formerly known as synchronized swimming! However, many people still refer to the sport as synchronized swimming).

About The Bridge Mind Body Movement:
Pamela Johnson is the owner and founder of The Bridge Mind Body Movement which has a Pilates studio located in The Arts District of Downtown LA. Pamela has recently joined forces with Hotel Figueroa in helping to develop a wellness program inside our Urban Oasis offering daily outdoor Pilates and Yoga classes for hotel guests and residents of the surrounding communities. Her work over two decades of teaching and certifications in multiple modalities has given her the ability to adapt and tailor a program for each client’s needs. She is also currently the Vice President and CFO of a non-profit organization called A new Dawn of Shinah. It is an organization focused on helping survivors of Human Trafficking and sexual exploitation learn to rediscover the empowerment of their own body and sense of self through movement, body work, myofascial release therapy, and equine therapy. It is her joy and mission to help people through holistic wellness and to hold a safe space for each client to reconnect with their true sovereignty.
