Grand Park and The Music Center are on holiday-mode from sunset until 10PM nightly, all courtesy of light and art installations featured in Grand Park’s Winter Glow. H+ Creative designed a digital animated concept for the project, and stand-out installations include the Glowing Geometric Garden made up of bulbs and LED tubes, and the illuminated arches that define the Light Connection Tunnel.
Hit the ice all throughout the holiday season and put your skating skills to the test at the Bai Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square in DTLA. Twirl to the sounds of a live DJ every Saturday evening beginning at 7PM, and check the website for special events like curling lessons and the Silent Skate Party.

Be one of the first to see images never exhibited at The Getty Center when the institution presents rare works during the Unseen: 35 Years of Collecting Photographs exhibit. Photographs taken during the early days of the medium are presented alongside contemporary work, and featured prints by celebrated artists like Anthony Hernandez, Carrie Mae Weems, and Dawoud Bey are not to be missed.
Jaden Smith proves why he’s a hip-hop icon on the rise during this live show at The Novo by Microsoft. Expect the young rapper to perform songs from his albums Syre and Erys with unmatched energy, and don’t be surprised if you see Smith’s famous friends and family dancing along to his tunes in the crowd.
